Exotic Bali - Satri's Warung and Sedona Spa (Day 4, 29 Aug 2013)

End of Day 4 trip, it's time for dinner. So we went back to Satri's Warung for Banana Chicken as our dinner around 4 pm!

After we reached the restaurant around 4:30 pm, I smelt the fragrant Banana Chicken dish that was ready to serve to us! We were the only customers in the restaurant! I think we were there too early for lunch :P I like the taste of the banana chicken, the chicken meat was very fresh, smooth and soft! If you are interested to try it out, make sure you call them to pre-booked, else it will end up like my case!

After we were satisfied with our delicious dinner, time for relaxing our body and mind with massage. I scheduled to have our massage session at Sedona Spa at 5 pm. Before the trip, I had pre-booked via their business website. This is because this spa center is always crowded especially with the tourists! Therefore, it is advisable to pre-booked else you might cannot get any session available!

I chose to try out the milk bath, because it can moisture our skin plus milk has whitening effect! The body massage package I selected is included with milk body scrub, milk body massage, milk body mask and finally flower bath. Overall, I enjoyed a lot with this 1 and a half hours Balinese massage session! The lady masseur was very polite and experienced :) The masseur told me that luckily I reached there before 7 pm, this is because during sunset time, the environment will be quite dark and a lot mosquitoes will be flying around (there is a rice field in front of the massage center)!

Back to our driver's van and heading to Sedona Spa. Took photo with the big frangipani flower which dropped onto my head :P

Hot tea and fruits was served to me after my body massage :)

Exotic Bali - Puri Saren Agung, Cafe Wayan and KOU handmade soap shop (Day 4, 29 Aug 2013)

After we happily shopped at Sukawati Art market, we headed to Ubud center - Monkey Forest street. I planned to visit this famous Bali art street to have lunch and tea time here and of course to view some beautiful and artistic souvenirs. The next stop was Puri Saren Agung (Ubud Palace)! It was a traditional Balinese houses of Ubud King. This place is free for entrance but it is quite small area though!

While we were visiting Puri Saren Agung, the place was crowded, there was a group of China tourists also were visiting this place! It was quite hard for me to take some nice pictures because too many visitors were blocking my way...

Spotted this special fountain just opposite of Puri Saren Agung

After we spent a short while of visiting Puri Saren Agung, we continued to scroll along the Monkey Forest street, especially to find some beautiful Bali postcards. I bought some beautiful postcards here and posted back to my home too :)

While we were walking, suddenly a big frangipani flower dropped onto my head! I was shocked and wondering what hit my head?!
And of course, I picked up the flower! Haha...

Since it was noon time and we were hungry, therefore we quickly searched for lunch. I planned to have lunch at Satri's Warung restaurant to taste their signature dish - Banana Chicken. However, when we reached there, the kind auntie of the restaurant told me that it required at least 3 hours to prepare for this dish and moreover we didn't pre-booked earlier. So she suggested us to come back again at 4 pm, then we paid some deposit and left the restaurant.

So I gotta change my plan to have tea time first at Cafe Wayan. Cafe Wayan seems very well known to the Western tourists! It is because when I reached there, most of the customers were Western people! I like the cozy environment of this restaurant too! Since this was tea time, we ordered a pizza and some cakes to eat...

Continued to stroll along the Monkey Forest street in Ubud

The quality of the soap is good for skin too, it can be used to wash face! I spent quite some time to search for it, then only I able to find the shop!

At first I saw KOU Cuisine shop which sell handmade jam and I thought they sell the handmade soap too! Then, only the promoter told me that the shop which sells handmade soap is on another street! And she shown me the business card with the map of the shop! Thanks to her who helped me saved some time for searching the shop :)

Exotic Bali - Sukawati Art Market (Day 4, 29 Aug 2013)

Today is a busy day for me to start Spring cleaning. I've packed a lot old clothes and sent to the recycle donation box! I bought too many clothes in the past!

Let me continue to blog about my Bali trip... After we enjoyed and rested enough at Bhanuswari Resort & Spa, our driver reached our hotel on time at 11 am. So the first destination to visit for the day was Sukawati Art Market.

Sukawati Art Market is a famous place which sells art paintings and souvenirs with cheap price. You can always bargain price with the seller at least 50% onwards. I like to shop here, because I bought many cute and cheap souvenirs here! And maybe during the time I visited there was not so crowded, therefore when I tried to bargain with the sellers, most of the time I was able to get the price I wanted :) And the sellers' attitude are polite too :)

End of the shopping, we met our driver at a hawker stall, surprisingly our driver told me that the stall was selling Bali famous avocado juice! I was craving for avocado juice when I was in Bali, but it was not avocado season during that time! I was so happy that I had the chance to taste this delicious beverage at last! Because most of the restaurants didn't have avocado in stock!
