After around 1 hour, our driver fetched us back to Namsan 2 Guest House again! Then, we checked into our room and left our luggage in the room and prepared to go out for lunch. This time our room was on the upper floor, we had to bring our heavy luggage and walked up the staircases to our room :S
We went to Gwang Jang Market 广藏市场 for our lunch. By the time we reached there (around 3:30 pm), I felt extremely hungry!! Due to the cold weather and also the long journey from Jeju Island to Seoul, we quickly chose a noodle stall to eat something hot. We ate the dumplings soup noodles and added another plate of dumplings! I like the noodles which were very smooth and chewy and the soup was tasty too! The owner of the noodles stall knows mandarin, she was able to communicate with us in mandarin too! Enjoyed eating hot noodles in cold weather, very warm feeling :)
Then, my friend told me that she wanted to try another famous snack food in Korea - green bean pancake 绿豆煎饼. We ordered one big piece of the green bean pancake and shared it with each other. The owner cut it into a few pieces for us and wrapped it with aluminium foil! I like this snack too, very crispy and delicious! I hope I can eat this again next time :P Too bad it is not found in my country...
Besides food stalls, there are many shops around the market, but we were rushing for time to go to the next destination. Else, we would be able to spend some time shopping around this area...
