This is the 4th Hot Air Balloon Fiesta held in Putrajaya.As I got to know the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2012 was going to happen in the town, I quickly invited my sister to pay a visit together in Putrajaya. We both were very excitedly anticipated for this event, since both of us never really see any hot air balloon in such a near distance before!
When I was a kid, I hope that one day I could sit inside the hot air balloon basket and imagine to become like a bird and view the beautiful scenery from the top of the blue sky! I want to feel this kind of no string attached experience...
The weather was hot but unfortunately blue sky and white clouds were not clearly seen on that day! Nevertheless, we still enjoyed our very first time experience of attending this hot air balloon fiesta.
Upon our arrival, we only able to see a few designs of hot air balloons. Maybe we reached there a bit late (around 9 am), therefore, some of the specially designed of hot air balloon shows were over :( By referring to the official website's schedule, the 'Hot Air Balloon Flight - Hare and Hound Competition' was started at 7 am. Moreover, during 8 am till 11 am, 'Hot Air Balloon Tethered Public Rides' is opened for visitor (RM10 per ride). There were more fascinating activities shown at night, such as the 'Synchronized Light Show', 'Night Glow and Fireworks' that started at 8pm!!
By the time we reached the venue, the tickets for 'Hot Air Balloon Tethered Public Rides' was sold out :( Therefore, we only able to see the others enjoyed their rides with the hot air balloon. Next time, if I'm going to visit Hot Air Balloon Fiesta again, I should reach there earlier!!
